5.x

  1. v5.0.1 Nuthatch 5.0.1 is the first published 5.x release.

4.x

  1. v4.15.2 Nuthatch 4.15.2 changes one default: a nest started without --poll-interval now asks for the tip every 5 minutes instead of at the chain's block time.
  2. v4.15.1 Nuthatch 4.15.1 fixes one wrong answer in the GraphQL surface of the graph build: a filter on a Bytes field with a checksummed address matched nothing.
  3. v4.15.0 Nuthatch 4.15.0 adds the head count: after a successful nuthatch init, Nuthatch asks once whether it may count you.
  4. v4.14.0 Nuthatch 4.14.0 adds maintained views, keeps a view's own ORDER BY, and fixes two pieces of release tooling.
  5. v4.13.0 Nuthatch 4.13.0 is an engine release: a page taken over a chain of left joins no longer computes every row first.
  6. v4.12.0 Nuthatch 4.12.0 makes the query engine cheaper on view-heavy nests, adds Linux arm64 downloads, and fixes a shutdown that could hang.
  7. v4.11.0 Nuthatch 4.11.0 is the release the subgraph stopgap needed: a nest that answers a subgraph's own client queries can now be run from release downloads alone.
  8. v4.10.1 Nuthatch 4.10.1 fixes four defects.
  9. v4.10.0 Nuthatch 4.10.0 makes the engine count the memory a scan holds, so a nest's 2 GiB budget can be met by its own settings and enforced by its own startup check.
  10. v4.9.0 Nuthatch 4.9.0 lets a nest start from another operator's published history instead of backfilling it over RPC.
  11. v4.8.0 Nuthatch 4.8.0 makes a first run reach its data in seconds, keeps a published mirror consistent with what it holds, lets an operator finalise an archive nest's last segments, and makes the exact float sum cheaper.
  12. v4.7.0 Nuthatch 4.7.0 undoes a slowdown 4.6.0 brought to joins on computed keys, stops a pool with a throttled endpoint from retrying one range forever, prints dates and timestamps as dates, and stops a narrow window from counting a sealed block's rows twice in the derived views.
  13. v4.6.0 Nuthatch 4.6.0 makes floating-point sums reproducible, adds an opt-in table of Arbitrum's L1 block numbers, and fixes a memory overcharge and a slow walk over long empty ranges.
  14. v4.5.0 Nuthatch 4.5.0 adds a sampled audit of sealed history against a second endpoint, and a per-entity gauge of the memory DBSP holds for authored incremental entities.
  15. v4.4.1 Nuthatch 4.4.1 fixes wrong answers.
  16. v4.4.0 Nuthatch 4.4.0 brings a nest's serving process inside its 2 GiB budget under production's real load, makes kittiwake's one-day QoS statements about seven times faster, and closes the races found while testing it.
  17. v4.3.1 Nuthatch 4.3.1 fixes a wrong answer in 4.3.0.
  18. v4.3.0 Nuthatch 4.3.0 fixes the remaining ways Burrmill could run out of memory or refuse under a budget.
  19. v4.2.1 Nuthatch 4.2.1 rebuilds the built-in admin page so that an operator can see the whole of a running nest from a browser.
  20. v4.2.0 Nuthatch 4.2.0 fixes the memory regression that took the Lodestar allocations nest down on 2026-10-03, closes the rest of the confirmed audit findings, and brings Burrmill's answers closer to DuckDB's.
  21. v4.1.1 Nuthatch 4.1.1 closes the blocker and every high from the cold audit of 4.1.0, taken the day after the SQL engine changed.
  22. v4.1.0 Nuthatch 4.1.0 changes the SQL engine.
  23. v4.0.2 Nuthatch 4.0.2 fixes how one RPC error is read.
  24. v4.0.1 Nuthatch 4.0.1 replaces the two public Ethereum mainnet endpoints a new nest is given, because neither could serve a backfill.
  25. v4.0.0 Nuthatch 4.0.0 is the stable line.

3.x

  1. v3.13.3 Nuthatch 3.13.3 makes nuthatch check tell the truth about incremental entities, and fixes what that uncovered.
  2. v3.13.2 Nuthatch 3.13.2 is the result of a hardening pass over what 3.13.1 already does: a new user's path from install to first query, the SQL surface under inputs it should refuse, crash recovery, and measured performance, run against Arbitrum One and Base.
  3. v3.13.1 Nuthatch 3.13.1 fixes what an end-to-end run of 3.13.0's runtime admin API found against a real chain: three ways a runtime could be left unable to restart, a move that broke a dataset two tenants shared, identical mounts sent together that reported a live nest as failed, and a runtime whose metrics were reachable only through one of its mounts.
  4. v3.13.0 Nuthatch 3.13.0 lets a runtime run its own nests' lifecycle.
  5. v3.12.2 Nuthatch 3.12.2 moves the WASM runtime past two security advisories, holds a nest mounted on a running runtime to the rules boot already enforces, finishes the 504 for a spent query budget that 3.12.1 began, reads two GraphOps RPC responses correctly, and lets a runtime start with nothing mounted.
  6. v3.12.1 Nuthatch 3.12.1 fixes one performance fault on the /sql surface and changes how one failure is reported.
  7. v3.12.0 Nuthatch 3.12.0 changes nothing in the published binaries.
  8. v3.11.0 Nuthatch 3.11.0 is about the RPC bill.
  9. v3.10.0 Nuthatch 3.10.0 is a small release with one change that matters when upgrading.
  10. v3.9.0 Nuthatch 3.9.0 adds nest nid, which prints the identity a nest's data is stored under, and offchain pull, a one-shot fetch that seals a price feed as an offchain snapshot.
  11. v3.8.5 Nuthatch 3.8.5 fixes two correctness faults in the analytics surface.
  12. v3.8.4 Startup refuses a store whose data no longer matches what nuthatch.toml covers, and / and /nest show the nest's nid and data_identity (#1423, fixes #1420).
  13. v3.8.3 A runtime now keys a nest's cursor, health and metrics by the route it serves the nest under, so a nest whose route differs from its name is measured, quarantined and unmounted correctly (#1419, fixes #1415).
  14. v3.8.2 Fixes a --seal-direct backfill over [[ipfs]] documents that paused without a word on a slow gateway (#1399).
  15. v3.8.1 Fixes a delay encountered while backfilling Edge & Node's QoS oracle with 3.8.0.
  16. v3.8.0 The release that makes an [[ipfs]] nest over megabyte documents fit to deploy.
  17. v3.7.0 The first release since the 2026 feature freeze ended on 2026-09-08 (#1231), and the first built from the programme that replaced it.
  18. v3.6.1 One fix, on a defect that had two production nests reporting perfect health while the watermark their receipts pin had not moved in two days.
  19. v3.6.0 The release that makes a dashboard cheap to serve.
  20. v3.5.1 A patch for the two things the Lodestar cutover found on 2026-09-06.
  21. v3.5.0 The release that turns the RPC bill down.
  22. v3.4.1 Three things found on one afternoon of running a fresh 3.4.0 nest behind a live dashboard.
  23. v3.4.0 Sparse tables stop fanning out into one tiny file per seal cut, and Robinhood Chain is built in.
  24. v3.3.1 One fix, to what every nest asks for and seals.
  25. v3.3.0 A new built-in chain, and a fix to the front door.
  26. v3.2.0 Two changes to the binary, one of which an operator should read before restarting, and a good deal of tooling around the edges.
  27. v3.1.0 A security update, two production defects that only measurement could have found, and a sprint's worth of gates that turned out not to be gating anything.
  28. v3.0.1 A one-line fix to a metric, and a great deal of measurement that changed what we believe about our own system.
  29. v3.0.0 Authored incremental entities, stable.
